The need
The company was looking for a solution to guarantee its customers continuous quality control of the surface finish of metal foils. This control was previously carried out by 2 operators who had to constantly monitor both sides of the foil during the unwinding process.
Our value proposition
Based on our "Caiman" sensor, interfaced directly with a standard PLC (Modbus-TCP protocol), an operational demonstrator was installed on site. This demonstrator demonstrates the viability and robustness of this solution, as well as its ROI.
